Mental Health Care for Individuals and Their Support Systems
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. Dr. Wemimo invites the involvement of trusted support people — because when families and providers work together, patients feel more seen, supported, and empowered in their care.
Whether you’re seeking help for yourself or walking alongside someone you love, this practice is a safe place to ask questions, find clarity, and build a path toward better mental wellness — together.
Dr. Kayode Wemimo, DNP, PMHNP-BC
(Doctor of Nursing Practice, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified)
I’m Dr. Kayode Wemimo, DNP, PMHNP-BC — a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner committed to serving patients and families with compassion, integrity, and clinical excellence. My purpose is to uplift and care for those navigating mental health challenges by combining skillful treatment with deep empathy.
I believe that healing is most effective when it’s built on trust, communication, and shared understanding. My approach is collaborative, inclusive of patients’ families, and centered on personalized care. I hold myself to the highest standards of accountability and pursue ongoing education to ensure that the care I provide is not only current, but continuously evolving.
Every patient deserves to feel seen, respected, and empowered — and I consider it my calling to meet that need with both professional discipline and personal dedication.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
